I’m Max, and I’m renting out the lower level unit of my split-level Salt Lake Valley home (Taylorsville Area)! The unit is approx. 900 square feet and features the following: - 2 Bedrooms - 1 Full Bath - Large Living Area - Kitchen w/ New Appliances - In-Unit Laundry - Private, Fenced Entrance (around back of garage) - Dedicated Driveway Parking Space Importantly, the $1,590/mo rent includes utilities (water, sewer, electrical, gas, trash), and the unit has been renovated to meet or exceed all applicable rental standards (smoke/CO detectors, fire egress, private entrance, dedicated parking space, etc). WiFi is the only utility excluded. The home is near 4700 S and 1950 W, conveniently located within 5 minutes of multiple freeway entrances. The home is on a quiet street in front of a park, away from busy roads, making the neighborhood excellent for walking. Approximate commute times: :30 to Kimball Junction :25 to University/Medical Campus :20 to Downtown SLC (City Creek) :35 to UVU No pets preferred, but open to discussing a single indoor cat (see guidelines below). Screening and security deposit notes: - There is a fully refundable security deposit of $1,000 required. There is no mandatory cleaning fee. Also, there will not be a charge for minor paint damage or pinholes (we'll say 10 sq inches is minor in this case, but I'm basing this more off the principle that I don't plan to charge for anything I have the material and knowledge to personally repair). - I have opted to use KSL's screening service, which costs $50 for interested tenants (I believe it's a one-time fee on the platform). Because this service is for my protection, I will refund the $50 to the tenant who ultimately ends up renting the unit. All occupants over 18 years old will need to complete the screening, with refund disbursement limited to $100 in cases where multiple occupants will be signing the lease.
