Be almost anywhere in the valley in 20 minutes! Groceries and other amenities less than a mile away. Room has a new full size memory foam bed, nightstand and a motorized desk for easy work/study at home. Ceiling fan with light for comfort. Excellent views of the valley (you can see to downtown and the lake) and sunset from your bedroom plus awesome views from the quiet, landscaped yard. Bathroom is shared with one other person. Shared space on the first floor including kitchen and laundry area. High speed WiFi with great signal strength throughout the house, Hot tub/fire pit usage and washer/dryer included. Off street parking in driveway. 2 decks (front and back). Room for limited storage of gear/stuff. You will be living with up to 2 others and are expected to treat your fellow housemates, the furnishings, the neighbors and the house with kindness and respect. Cleaning up after yourself, in common areas and your own room, is mandatory. Wearing headphones is strongly encouraged. No smoking, on premise or in the home. No illegal drug usage, no legal drug abuse. Open to pets. I have an allergic reaction (intense headache, itchiness) to cooking onions, peppers, etc and due to the open floor plan of the house there's no way to avoid it ending up in my room. Therefore those products are not allowed to be cooked in the house. Quiet, welcoming place to live a good life. Damage deposit equal to one months rent and first month's rent due before moving in. I'm an ambivert and have enjoyed having housemates at every home I've owned over the last 20 years. I'm very particular about who I let rooms to and strive to create a harmonious environment that makes it easy to live affordably and well. The process The goal of the process is to give both of us the opportunity to get the information we need to feel that living with each other with be good for both of us. It can go as fast (I've done it all in 24 hours) or as slow as you like. 1. You reach out to me via text or message with a short introduction about yourself. If it seems like a good match I'll invite you to come check out the house. 2. You come visit the house (feel free to bring a friend) so we can meet and I can show you the space. If you have a pet you will bring the pet so I can gauge how comfortable it seems and address any behavior concerns. 3. If we both agree it's a good match, I send you a no-fee application where you will share financial information, previous housing information and 2 references. 4. I will review the application and call your references. If everything looks good on my end I will send you a lease to review. 5. You review the lease/ask question. If everything looks good you send me the signed lease and 2 venmo deposits for your security deposit and first month's rent within 24 hours 6. Once I receive your lease and deposits, I will countersign the lease and return it to you. I will also send you some "onboarding" materials with helpful hints, wifi information, etc...
