The house stays pretty quiet most of the time, but if you lean towards one of the extremes (no noise at all, or nonstop) probably not a good fit. I'm in my early thirties, non-LDS, work remotely for a technology company, and ski/bike/climb for fun. I've got a cat-friendly dog and a dog-friendly cat; pets are allowed, assuming they all get along. The room is about 150 sqft (~12x12)(home is 2500 sqft) on the bottom floor complete with its own detached bathroom and living area. The room easily fits a queen bed, dresser, and side tables, but also has a closet with built-in shelving. The living area that's connected has enough space for a desk in addition to the couch and projector/screen that is still there. There are window boxes throughout the entire downstairs that provide ample light, and BIG bay windows on the front of the home that light up the downstairs if the doors to the living area are open. The house was fully remodeled in 2012 and has stainless steel appliances, washer and dryer, and views of the city. The backyard has a hot tub, planter boxes, and a side patio with a grill and outdoor furniture. Parking for cars is on the street - there is a garage but its full of bikes and ski gear.
