I purchased a camper van and want to experiment living in the van for a while. You would have full reign of the house and yard while renting, though I will have sole access to the shed for storage purposes. I absolutely ADORE this house, so I will be selective about who will enjoy it respectfully and maintain the happy vibe I have worked hard to instill here. Things you should know up front: - NO SMOKING or VAPING period. Not outside, not inside. That includes marajuana and tobacco of any kind. - No Pets. - Respectful use of my belongings since it is fully furnished. You are welcome to use whatever is in the house as long as you are gentle with it. - Be kind to the neighbors; they are good people. - Any guest staying for longer then 2 consecutive nights must be approved (There is a guest bed in the office) - Anyone who parks on the driveway must guarantee no oil leaks. **failure to keep these rules will result in total loss of your deposit which is otherwise fully refundable other than a $200 cleaning fee** If that works for you, then read on! This is a lovely house and location. Ready-to-cook kitchen complete with all new appliances and cookware, Queen size hybrid mattress (absolute heaven - I’m going to miss it), large screen smart TV, Dedicated office space and Google Fiber 2GB WiFi that’s great for working from home, spacious outdoor recreation area with very private backyard including a pergola, fire pit and furniture and 4 planter boxes you are welcome to use, washer and dryer unit in the bathroom. You will be responsible for your own toiletries and disposables. Excellent location! Less than 5 minute drive to I-80 or I-15 freeway entrances, less than 15 minutes from the airport, 8 minute walk to the Trax station, blocks away from several 7 Elevens, food joints and gyms, and parks. Easy access to the canyon for winter sports - you don’t even need a car due to the bus system. Very quiet street with lots of parking. Application will require a background check and a reference either from a previous landlord or both a reference from a roommate and a neighbor. Contract will include an agreement that you will not be eligible for housing protection via the housing moratorium from COVID, meaning you must pay promptly for all time spent in the house and leave on the date agreed upon no matter your circumstances. Cheaper than an extended stay AirBnB in the area! Price listed includes all utilities. This is strictly month to month with a 30 day notice minimum required from either you or me before move out or preselected move out date at the time of move out. $1000 deposit required up front and is fully refundable (minus a $200 cleaning fee due to COVID-19) unless any guideline listed above is broken or damage is done to the house. Rent only accepted in cash, cashiers check or Venmo. The house is available starting NOVEMBER 2021 with the minimum time being one month. Ideal if you want to visit SLC short term while many work situations are remote, or if you have family visiting the state, or are looking for permanent housing, or are in a short term residency or internship, or if you want a change of scenery from being home so long during the pandemic, or if you want a place to stay for the ski and/or climbing and hiking seasons (20 minutes to Brighton Canyon entrance).
