Close to both 33rd and 45th S I-15 ramps. You can continue leasing with them onward after the sublease is over. This is a FANTASTIC and well loved unit for me, I think it’s been one of the best apartments I have ever lived in and am only leaving it because I found love. You can choose to park in the underground garage for an extra fee. Pros about this unit and community: - This is a secret floor plan unadvertised on their website – there is a bonus “mini room” or very large closet that follows the mailroom plan on the first floor and adds something like 100 square feet to the footprint. I used it as my “art office”. It can house an entire desk and cabinets. - The elevators are quiet and hardly interfering with life in this apartment, and there are only neighbors sharing one wall on ONE side of this apartment. The neighbor you share with is the maintenance man’s family, so they are VERY quiet. You’re also on the top floor, so you make the noise for the person below you, but you hear nothing above you. - Partially renovated apartment for my move in. The appliances were brand new to me, so only one person has used them, but I’ve lived here for 3 years. - Dog and cat friendly with an emphasis on CLEAN community grounds – they are very strict about it with dog waste. - W/D Units are pretty dang big. - Big outside storage closet on balcony - Large bathroom with TALL ceilings! - Optimal first door location from main elevator landing (easy “commute” and great for ADA needs). In fact, fully ADA accessible complex, ramps, elevators, great parking garage, etc. - The property managers are so attentive and dutiful, and introducing lots of brand new things like a new $40k dog park, catered parties and events, and more. I recommend becoming great friends with James and Xaden. - Great natural light for plants. - Keyless entry and building security with codes and cell app accesses. Memorize codes or just press a button. There is also a fob! - Amazon lockers for shipments. - No kids have lived here – only one clean lady and her dog. - The neighbors are super friendly but also keep to themselves. They walk a good balance. - Trax station is on the corner within walking distance - Location is pretty close to lots of great places - It’s actually quite safe here, not much happens, even walking up and down Howick St is really safe. I do see the occasional dumpster diver at 5am though. Sorry. Cons to consider: - Pool can be noisy, window faces community center and pool, as well as DogMode next door can be heard. Sometimes you can smell cigarette smoke when the window is open and the community is trying to crack down on that. - Trains shake the building subtly, but I think that’s why the community’s got slightly lower prices. - Laminate counter tops - There isn’t a TON of storage options. No walk in closet, no linen closet. I have had to come up with storage solutions. But I have more open space in return. - A sweet golden retriever has lived here. Carpets are protected by large area rugs (so they will be fairly clean!) but dog hair exists here. I will put in my best effort with cleaning, but if you’re allergic to dogs, probably not a good fit. I am hiring a cleaning service, though. - It’s kind of tucked inside an industrial area and… unfortunately the air smells like bacon sometimes from the Dailey’s bacon factory nearby. I personally find it to be a con, but not unlivable. I will also have on offer some free furniture, just ask.
