The house is in Liberty Wells/Sugarhouse (near the intersection of 1700 S, 500 E) Less than 5 minute walk to Liberty Park, Alchemy Coffee, Park Café, Salt Lake Community College, or a bus stop to take you anywhere in the city. Less than 5 min drive to downtown Sugarhouse, 9th & 9th, Westminster College, Ballpark, the interstate, Trax, or downtown SLC. Less than 5 min drive to countless restaurants, bars, coffee shops, grocery stores, shops, gyms, public swimming pools, and other amenities. Full size kitchen, living room, and dining room. This house is spacious, and is one of the larger homes in the area. Full laundry. TWO covered porches (front and back). Off-street parking (driveway). A small garage with space for bikes, skis, tools, etc. Additional storage in an attic. The common areas of the house, including kitchen, are furnished. THE ROOM: The available room is a standard-size bedroom with a sliding glass and screen door that opens to the backyard. This room shares a bathroom with one other housemate. It is a spacious room and perfect for a single person. The rent rate for this room is $700 each month (without utilities; see below for more info). Additionally, this room CAN come partly furnished, with a bed frame (with built in drawers for storing clothing) and hybrid foam/spring mattress (Full size), as well as a desk and armoire wardrobe able to be included for a one-time additional price of $250. All are in really good condition and 5 years old. LEASE LENGTH: This room will be available to rent from February through June, 2026, and it is renewable. OCCUPANCY: No more than one person may reside in the bedroom. UTILITIES: Utilities are a flat rate of $150 per month, which includes Google Fiber Internet, curbside trash & recycling pickup, and all other utilities (gas, electric, water, sewer). This rate is on top of the monthly room rate. APPLICATION: We will require a background check, proof of employment/income and references before lease signing. Income must be at least 2x rent. First month’s rent and deposit are due at lease signing, and last month’s rent is due within 45 days of lease signing. The deposit is the same amount as one full month’s rent, and the deposit is refundable.
