Please read this, sadly, descriptions are important and people message me without reading it for some reason. Mother-In-Law apartment setup, basement. I have 1 of 2 separate rooms. This does not mean i have 2 rooms. The small room is the room i am in currently, i am open to switching. The large room is in the photograph, it's a HUGE room. The downside to the large room is it touches the wall to the bathroom, so if me doing stuff in there at 5:30 a.m. bothers you, we can switch rooms. The deposit is basically just so i know you're financially stable, The tall ask here is that you are financially competent. I don't want it or need it. I plan on refunding it 30-90 days from move in. There is currently driveway parking but i'm not sure how that's gonna work once the owner fills the upstairs. Shared bathroom. Utilities are split with the upstairs. The only decent internet plan is 2Gig, every other plan has data caps. it's about $120 month. The landlord has "entrusted" me with the downstairs as the last few tenants have been pretty crazy. (You can see the patched drywall in the photo) My #1 priority is to have somebody who i don't mind living here rather than filling the room. I've had this listing up on and off for almost 2 years now. I'm pretty laid back though, my rules are something along the lines of: Hyper religious are not welcome. Hyper political are not welcome, left or right. Your beliefs are yours, i can respect that, but they're not mine, so this "apartment" isn't going to operate under any of those rules. Kickbacks are chill but there won't be any rager parties here. Don't smoke weed inside, vaping is fine. If you do onlyfans stuff, do it quietly. If you don't bother me i won't bother you. If you bring guns we gotta talk about where/how they are stored. I am not going to be your UBER for you to get shitfaced somewhere random every night. Not sure why people refuse to cook their own food nowadays but i would PREFER somebody who cooks at least semi-regularly, sharing groceries is significantly cheaper than eating out 15+ times a week, but this is obviously not required. If you eat all the stuff that i cook without EVER pitching in though there will be very big problems very quickly. I AM NOT DOING SHOW-AND TELLS TO THE PUBLIC. If you want to see the room i will videocall you and show it as many times as you want, and then if things are good i'll let you come see it, but i'm not herding random weird-ass people through my house. AND I am not going to ask you for money until i place the key in your hand. I have a tuxedo cat and a black cat, they are incredibly cool/relaxed, if you have a cat/dog that isn't gonna start shit they are welcome to come. There has been 5 different cats in here in the years we've been here and never had an issue with any of them. If you bring a dog, you need to clean up after them at least once a week. My son is here on the weekends, he's 9. He's obsessed with anything horror related. So if you like horror movies, videogames, metal, concerts, black cats, this place is probably built for you. He will be stoked to have a new friend. If you want to decorate i personally don't have any problem with it, the last guy blasted holes in every wall in here after the owner painted, and it has not been re-painted. So i say paint it whatever, ONLY IF you can paint it back before you move out. Now... the weird part i have to include due to the absolute assload of messages i get every time this goes up. I can tell if you're strung out, hard pass. If you have a kid, that's cool. If you have 6 kids, 2 husbands, 3 dogs, that's not cool, don't ask. You cannot park your vehicle you're living in on our property. I don't care if you're "getting your inheritance" or "settlement" if you don't have the money, you're not moving in. (Another reason for the deposit) No i will not spot you for a few months. Please stop asking. Text or message, although messages might not be checked for several days.
