Hello! Looking for a housemate to rent a VERY large single-occupancy bedroom in my nicely-maintained Taylorsville house. The room is very spacious (over 500 sq ft) and measures 13.5’ X 38’. The room features a nice bar-top seating area, plenty large enough for a bed, couch, TV stand, desk, and other items (although the photos make it look small, this space is actually larger than some 1 br apartments!). The bathroom is shared with one housemate, and two additional housemates live on the upper floor. The space is single occupancy, 12 month lease, and housemates split utilities evenly. The common areas of the house (e.g.; living room) are nicely furnished. The room itself is not furnished. The house features plenty of extra storage (including storage inside the house for things like clothes, etc., and also storage shed for things like a bicycle, skis, etc.). The house also features central heat/AC, hardwood floors, and a fantastic back yard with a large covered seating area (great spot to relax or bring your laptop outdoors and do some work in the peaceful back yard). Neighborhood is well-maintained, quiet, and safe. Convenient location; less than 5 minutes to I 215, 7 minutes to Salt Lake Community College, 5 minutes to gyms like Planet Fitness and VASA, 12 minutes to downtown SLC, 12 minutes to Sugarhouse, 12 minutes to the airport, 12-15 minutes to Liberty Park / 9th & 9th / Westminster College, 20 minutes to the U of U, and less than 5 minutes to Valley Regional Park (one of the largest and best parks in the area). Shopping and restaurants are within 5 minutes. The Wasatch mountains are about 15-25 minutes—overall, a very convenient location. The housemates are students and full-time professionals. Every housemate is background checked, reference checked, and employment verified, and everyone is responsible and trustworthy. The housemates are all friendly, easy to get along with, and like to keep the place quiet and clean. Overall, this is a nice, clean, quiet place to live (and a good value)! Prior to lease signing, I will require a background check, references, first month’s rent, and deposit (same amount as rent). The last month’s rent will be due within 45 days of the lease signing.
