About the room/house: Amazing house in a quaint Sugarhouse/East Bench neighborhood. Looking for two people to fill the second and third basement bedrooms in my house. Both rooms would share the basement bathroom. The house features a large yard with a patio off the kitchen, upstairs and downstairs living rooms, and a renovated kitchen with new appliances. There is tons of natural light both upstairs and in the downstairs bedrooms. There is shared laundry onsite, abundant street parking, and the neighborhood is quiet. The house backs up to Dilworth Elementary School, so you can use their tennis courts/basketball courts/fields when students aren’t present (I have a gate that opens up to the school’s baseball field). The house has solar panels, so electric bill is usually very low; the rest of the utilities/wifi would be split evenly. About me: I’m in my late-20s and work in the environmental field from my home office (occasionally going into the office downtown). I currently live with my sweet dog Scout (pictured in the listing). I am very mindful of keeping the house clean and respecting the space of roommates, but also want to have a fun living environment. I spend most of my free time trail running, climbing, and reading around the house. I occasionally have friends over for BBQs and backyard kickbacks. Roommate expectations: I am searching for young professionals who are respectful of the space and care about living in a clean environment. People who respect other roommate’s time and space (being quiet at night or in the morning if schedules differ, cleaning up after yourself, etc). If you enjoy having friends over past 10 p.m. and throwing parties, this is not the house for you. No pets – I work from home and multiple animals can be chaotic. Ideally seeking someone for a 12 month commitment. Background check required. About the neighborhood: The house is located close to the 21st E/21st S area. It is walking distance to the new 21st/21st strip center and the East Bench Macey’s. The house is about a mile from Sugarhouse Park, a short bike ride to 15th&15th, and a short drive to the East Bench trailheads/the mouth of Millcreek Canyon. I-80 and I-215 are easily accessible from the house. The house is in the perfect location if you need to access Park City, the University, and the entire East Bench area.
