I have a room available for rent in my charming house in East Draper. LADIES ONLY. The house is shared with two other single, professional ladies. (There is a small family that lives in the attached mother-in-law apartment, but you only share the laundry room.) The available room is on the smaller side, but there’s plenty of space for a few pieces of furniture with plenty of room to move around. This room is unfurnished, except there is a built-in bed frame (twin sized, no mattress included). The room shares a bathroom with one other lady and is $400 plus utilities ($90-130/month depending on time of year). Off-street parking is a few steps away from the door. There is lots of storage available in the unfinished basement, if you need it. The house has a large, eat-in kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, and garbage disposal. Washer and dryer provided and shared with other tenants High-speed internet is ready to go and included with the utilities. The house is situated on a quarter acre near Draper Park close to all sorts of awesome biking/walking/horse trails in a beautiful neighborhood surrounded by horse properties. There is even a zebra nearby! Each renter pays 1/5 of utilities ($90-130/month, depending on time of year). Single occupancy only. $300 fully refundable deposit. Month-to-month lease. No cats or dogs. Caged pets will be considered on an individual basis with additional charge. Overnight guests will need to be limited. I want to be completely open, so here are the bad things about the room/house, in case any are deal-breakers. The house is not updated. Everything works and is comfortable, but it's dated. There are box elder bugs. We spray as needed, and they don't hurt anything, but they never go away all together. The house is air-conditioned, but the upstairs (where this room is) doesn't cool off very well. It is nice and warm during the winter, but not very cool during the summer. Luckily, the area almost always cools off at night, so usually it's comfortable at night with the window open. The lawn is dead. One roommate (who is a very lovely lady) has a very bad citrus allergy, so you will need to refrain from citrus, citrus candles, cleaners, etc anywhere in the house. Call, text, or email with questions and/or to schedule a tour. Holly 989-980-8363
